WHAT IS YOUR TURNAROUND TIME?

It varies from project to project, depending on quantity, level of detail, and my current schedule. Envelope addressing usually requires around 2 weeks, while a custom invitation suite from design to production usually requires 8-12 weeks. It's always best to reserve your spot early, so please e-mail me for availability. 

WHAT ARE YOUR PAYMENT POLICIES?

Once you decide you'd like to work with me on a custom project, I will e-mail you an invoice detailing the cost estimates of your project. All project payments are due in 2 parts- a 50% deposit is due prior to work beginning and to hold your spot. The remaining half of the balance is due upon project completion. Depending on the complete total cost, various payment options are available. All print costs are due before items are sent to the printer.

I LOVE YOUR CALLIGRAPHY, BUT CAN YOU CHANGE IT tO MAKE IT LESS BOUNCY/THINNER/STRAIGHTER?

While I would love to please everyone and have the perfect universal calligraphy style, that's just not me. My calligraphy and lettering style is something I've crafted over years of practice, and trying to change it up would probably result in awkward and unnatural looking letters, which nobody wants. Sorry, y'all!

CAN YOU LETTER ON ANYTHING?

I wouldn't go as far as to say anything, but I certainly love a good challenge and where there's a will, there's a way!

DO YOU TAKE RUSH ORDERS?

Depending on my current schedule I may be able to accommodate your rush order for a fee. Please e-mail me for availability and details!

HOW EARLY SHOULD I START DESIGNING MY INVITATIONS?

I recommend starting the design process 3-4 months before you would like to mail the invitations to allow plenty of time for custom design, proofing, and printing. 

WHAT IF I DON'T LIKE MY CUSTOM DESIGN?

My primary goal at Kristen Leigh Lettering + Design is to create a unique piece you absolutely love. Through our collaboration process, I'll initially send you 2-3 proofs based on our consultations. You will select the piece you like best, give me your feedback, and we can sort out any changes you'd like. From there, I will send you another proof that incorporates the revisions you requested. You may have three rounds of minor revisions (font, color, etc.).If you need more revisions, I'm happy to accommodate and complete each change for a $25 fee. Once you approve the design, I will send you a final proof to sign off on.

DO YOU HAVE BUSINESS HOURS?

Yes! I try to honor my clients' and my family's time, so I keep business hours from 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. on weekdays. I typically reply to e-mails within one business day, rarely two business days in certain circumstances.
